British Airways Embarrass Themselves By Failing To Recognize Sachin Tendulkar!
Friday the 13th turned out to be very unlucky for British Airways, with people bad-mouthing them all over Twitter after they asked cricket God Sachin Tendulkar for his full identification to find his luggage, which the airline had misplaced.
Currently on tour for the T20 exhibition Cricket All-Stars series, the Master Blaster was evidently unhappy with the mismanagement shown by the British Airways staff. He tweeted : “Angry Disappointed and Frustrated.. #BAdserviceBA Family member’s Waitlisted ticket not confirmed despite seats being available (1/2)”, followed by “And luggage being tagged by @British_Airways to wrong destination and don’t care attitude! #NeveronBA (2/2)”.
As if that wasn’t enough for people to notice the airline’s negligence, British Airways replied by saying, “@sachin_rt We’re sorry to hear this Sachin, could you please DM us your baggage ref, full name and address so we can look into this for you?.”
There have been multiple tweets cursing BA for their attitude and lack of concern for customers, with people asking the airline officials if they were drunk while replying to Sachin’s tweet and so on. It seems like British Airways have found themselves in a very sticky situation; let’s see how they get themselves out of it!
