Crocodile At A Forest Officer’s Bungalow

Crocodile at an officer’s house? Yes, and how did it find it’s way there? Well it didn’t, the MP villagers dropped it there. Yes, people at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh dropped a crocodile at the local forest officer’s bungalow. Why would they do so? are they insane you may ask. Well, they aren’t, actually they did the right thing. A crocodile was spotted at the Bali residential colony in Madhya Pradesh, and as responsible citizens they asked the forest department for help. The villagers kept on dialling the authorities, but no one showed up, that’s why they decided to drop the crocodile at the local forest officer’s bungalow.

According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, earlier this week, people at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh spotted a #crocodile, which would have entered the village from a nearby water body. This surprising visit from a beast, left the residents around the area, terrified. But they didn’t harm the beast. Instead they called the forest department and asked for their help to catch the crocodile and release it some where safe. And they waited for a rescue team to take away the crocodile from their village premises. They waited and kept on waiting but no one showed up to rescue the animal.

It was then, the villagers lost hope in the forest department and took the matters in their own hands. Well, they didn’t release the #crocodile back to safety, but they captured it and took the #crocodile to the local forest officer’s bungalow and left it there. They decided to leave it there rather than in to the wild.

A rescue team showed up at the local forest officer’s bungalow within a shot period of time and took the beast away and released it in the river.

What made the authorities wait so long to act when the large lizard was in the village and what made them to act instantly when it was near the house of authorities ?
