Delhi Airport CRPF Stops Celebrity Rakesh Bapat For Possession Of Lighter
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has often been criticised for inefficiency in their dealings, but have always proved their worth and silenced their critics. One such very recent example is when the CRPF stopped celebrity Rakesh Bapat (also known as Raqesh Vashisth) as he was going through security check with a lighter.
It is a well known rule that no matches or lighter should be in your immediate possession while boarding a flight. Yet, some people think they can take the law into their own hands. Often, people think that they can get away with practically anything, if they ‘play the right cards’ (some of them are chain smokers who try their best to find a way to carry cigarettes and lighters into any and every situation, even when they are not supposed to), but the CRPF did not budge, even while dealing with a celebrity.
They took the necessary action to make sure that Rakesh did not carry the lighter on to the aircraft, and showed that they will always carry out their duty, no matter what the situation is and no matter who they are dealing with.
