FaceBook Account Deleted Only For A Name: What’s in a Name Facebook?
Have you ever heard Facebook accounts being blocked just because they didn’t find the names pretty good? Then let’s meet some weird cases where Facebook decides to take an indecisive step only for a name. Looks pretty weird, isn’t it? Quite some days back there was an incident where Facebook had blocked an user named Phuc Dat Bitch. He was only a 23 years aged guy and just because of his name he wasblocked from Facebook.
Now the list gets extended with another girl’s account removed from Facebook. The only reason behind her removal was again her name : Isis. Isis stands out to be a familiar name for the reason that it is reminiscent of The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria which is a popular terrorist organisation.
However little does Facebook know that Isis also is the name of an Egyptian goddess who is known for her beauty. In US almost 396 babies had been born last year who were baptised as Isis. Facebook guys: When are you getting your new dictionary man?
This time the impact took a toll over all the women who had their names common to the terrorist organization. Isis Anchalee, pursuing the profession of a platform engineer now complains that her facebook account had been deactivated. Later though Facebook had presented an apology saying the fact they presumed it to be some fake user’s account, yet the problem still lies the same that Facebook believes too much in a name.
Isis Beckwith had also faced a similar kind of situation. And what did Facebook have to say about this? They found her account to be the generator of some unhealthy posts and images.
Dear Facebook please realise it is indeed a name and nothing more to it. Keep your personal presumptions away from your professional life guys.
