Kiran Rao Files Cyber Complaint against Imposter!
What would be your first ever reaction when you see that an Imposter has created your fake account? We do not like all these stuff, but when it is about celebrities, you can see their pages being set up in a regular. Kiran Rao, the great Wife of Aamir Khan and an independent magnificent Film Director, excused from a shock to hear what has grown into her name.
In the whole world of Facebook, she has spotted another Facebook account created by her name which is practically representing her.
It has been just a few days back when she decided to take charge against the imposter and lodged a police complaint with Cyber Crime Police Station in the Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
According to Rao, the unidentified person is into some serious crime which has given her a shock because the individual had just used her pictures to talk with her friends and family members.
However, when further asked into the matter, the Police had refused to get anything leaked on to the occasions which have kept every one of us wondering about the result of the case. However when the officials spoke to Rao, it was clear that they had already taken some initiatives.
According to the media which spoke to Rao, it was quite clear that she was unheard about this whole factor which made her not to concern with this profile. But it was her friends who had come up with a series of chats as well as other private messages.
This was the incident which had led Rao to file a complaint against the impersonator and making it a reason for them to stay aware. However Rao’s incident is not just the first one in the whole Bollywood industry, and if one has a good look at it, he can find that several Bollywood stars have faced several complaints against this cyber crime.
Indian Police Service officer-turned-lawyer Y P Singh told TOI, “The impersonator can be easily identified by the police from his IP address and apprehended.
However, if the impersonator makes mischief from outside India, it is nearly impossible to catch him and put him to trial under the provisions of the Information Technology Act or for cheating… However the actor can, also, file a case of civil damages against the impersonator.”
When it comes up for the people to get into such problems, different people come up with different decisions, and it was probably the first time that Kiran had faced such a brutal Cyber Crime.
But this is not okay at all. We recognize the act of Cyber Crime as a law of seriousness and if cannot be meant for one. Impostors should not be there in the field of Cyber Crime, and there should be no more activities such as this! However for the people who will not listen to the clear statement from us- Police will be soon on your way to catch! Stay aware!!
