You should be cautious while entering a petrol pump, because there’s a chance that the crooked attendant may deceive you. There are chances that petrol pump employees may be using trickery to cleave you off. The tricky game played by the petrol pump attendants will be in the form of silly conversations. They can influence you very easily by asking friendly questions.

While going to a filling station following things should be given proper attention:
The fuel attendants always keep their fingers tightly fixed to the nozzle. After feeding a fixed amount to be filled they will start their tricky game. The attendants tend to automatically interfere the flow of the fuel, by delivering the required amount within no time. The common man’s loss is about 1 liters of fuel. We are unaware about the money that is being lost.
The hidden part in their game is that they use a very long fuel dispenser pipe in which large quantities of fuel remain as residue which will be pumped back and the distraction trick involving silly meaningless conversations like, “Sir, kitna mileage deti hai” or “Sir, aap cash doge ya card se payment karoge?” By that time that the attendant resets the settings of the meters. So these things should be carefully pay a note off as we are paying for the fuel and our money is being lost.
If they resume their talk again then there may be chances for resetting the meter and the poor customers have to bear the loss of hundreds of money. Poor fellow beings don’t know about this cheating!!
If the meter is blinking, it is an indication of the number being fed before. The correct form of display will be Rs 1000.00 and not just 100. Check the display while filling the fuel.
