  •  In Victoria, only a qualified electrician is allowed to change a light bulb. It’s illegal to change it yourself unless you are a qualified electrician. It’s better to sit in the dark if you are not a qualified electrician, if not you would have to pay a fine up to 10 Australian dollars for changing the light bulb on your own.
  • In Milan it is a legal requirement to smile at all the times. Only exceptions are during funerals or hospital visits. Just keep smiling, if you don’t, you have to pay a fine.
  • Winnie the pooh (character based on A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh stories) is banned from playgrounds in Tuszyn, in Poland. Because local authorities says Winnie is inappropriate for little children, because Pooh is half naked. I hope they don’t ban Tom & Jerry show, those guys are always naked, except in beach.
  • In Coulaines spitting is banned in 2009 to stop the spreading of swine flu. Don’t spit in Coulaines, unless you are ready to pay fine.
  • In 2007 the Chinese government passed an absurd law, which stated that, it’s illegal for the Tibetan monks to reincarnate without the government’s permission. Yes the law clearly states that the Tibetan monks have been banned from reincarnation without government’s permission.
  • A popular law passed in England prohibits people to die in the House of Parliament. It is completely true and confirmed. Just make sure you follow this law.
  • Eboli is a small town in Italy and kissing in a moving vehicle is banned here. In-case you can’t resist kissing, just stop the vehicle, kiss and drive away.
  • In Melbourne, Australia, vacuuming your house between 10 pm and 7 am during weekdays and 10 pm and 9 am during the weekends is against the law. You can’t just do it as you wish, you can’t!
  • Well, seems like that’s not the only thing banned in Melbourne, it’s a place where men are banned from dressing up like a woman.
  • In Oklahoma, it is against the law to have a sleeping donkey in your bathtub after 7pm. Why would someone have a sleeping donkey in their bathtub after 7pm? Why?
  • Driving a dirty car is against the law in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. You will have to face fine if you deny this law. That’s kinda good, maybe not for people who are lazy.
  • In Switzerland, flushing the toilet after 10 pm in an apartment building is illegal. Switzerland government considers it as noise pollution. Just don’t bother even if it stinks, unless you are willing to break the law.
  • In Canada, by law, one out of every five songs on the radio must be sung by a Canadian. Justin Bieber is from Canada, isn’t he?
  • In Honolulu, Hawai, it is illegal to sing loudly after the sunset. Not sure how they are gonna find out, if you do sing after sunset, still why break a law?
  • It is against the law not to walk your dog at least three times a day in Tornio, Italy.
  • Visitors of North Korea are not allowed to use North Korean currency and they are not allowed to enter into the city’s department stores. Well, how do they stay there then  and get food, if they are not supposed to use North Korean currency? Do they accept currency from other countries?
  • A law passed in 2009 in Japan states that it is illegal to be fat. Yes, it is forbidden to be fat in Japan. What would be the reason behind the passing of such a law?
  • In Venice it is illegal to feed the pigeons. Just don’t feed the pigeons, let them work for their food.
  • In Scotland, if someone knocks on your door and requires the use of your toilet, you must let them enter. What if the guy robs the home? Doesn’t matter, just let him in, unless you wanna break the law.
  • In Singapore if you move around the house naked, without closing the blinds, you can be arrested. In your own home, not sure if I am gonna visit Singapore.
  • Bear wrestling is illegal in Alabama, US. Let them stay in peace in wild.
  • In Oklahoma, you can be arrested for making ugly faces at a dog. Well, this law makes me think of, never mind.
  • In Devon, Texas, it is against the law to make furniture while you are nude. Seems like Singapore isn’t the only country that doesn’t want to see you nude.
  • In Pennsylvania, it’s against the law to tie a dollar bill on a string on the ground and pull it away when someone tries to pick it up. Pleased to know that it’s completely legal here in India.
  • In Thailand, you can’t leave your house if you are not wearing underwear. Well, come on it’s 21st century.
  • In Samoa, it is illegal to forget your wife’s birthday. Legal or not, it sure causes trouble in almost every country.
  • In Los Angeles, CA it’s illegal for a waiter to tell a customer “I’m really an actor.” Why would an waiter say so?
  • In Texas, it’s illegal to threaten somebody with an UNLOADED gun. Just make sure the gun is loaded, then you are good.
  • In Michigan, it is illegal to chain an alligator to a fire hydrant. Chain an alligator to what?
  • In Kentucky, carrying ice cream cones in your pocket is illegal. Just eat those cones, you don’t want to break the law.
  • In Illinois, giving a lighted cigar to a pet is illegal. How many times did a pet asked it’s owner for lighted cigar before they had to pass a law.
  • In Oxford, Ohio, a woman undressing in front of a picture of a man is breaking the law. Not sure if she can undress in front of a real man, why take a risk though.
  • In Baltimore, Maryland, taking a lion to the cinema is illegal. Now, that’s not a good news for lion owners who loves to take their lion to cinema.
  • In Texas, if you are going to commit a crime, you legally have to give 24 hours notice to the police. Either orally or in written form. Giving a written form for the crime you are about to commit, seems legit.
  • Got a pig? what’s it’s name? In France, it’s illegal to name a pig Napoleon. This one is completely true, not made up.
  • In Providence, Rhode Island, selling tooth paste and a tooth brush to the same customer on a Sunday is illegal. Really? how are they gonna brush their teeth without these both?
  • In Turkey, it is illegal for a man above 80 years to become a pilot. Well, that sound’s reasonable. Why should this be in the list of weird laws?
  • In Ohio, it is against state law to get a fish drunk. Again, how many times did this happened before they had to pass a law on it?
  • In Chico, California, the law states that anybody who detonates a nuclear device within the city limits is liable to a fine of $500. In-case you are gonna detonate a nuclear device, make sure you have $500.
  • In British Columbia, it is illegal to kill a Sasquatch or Bigfoot if one is ever found. How many Bigfoot’s were killed before they passed this law? Any idea why they would have passed this law? Whatever, why kill those, just let those poor souls on their own.
  • Going to visit Chicago any time soon? Just make sure that you don’t go fishing on a giraffe’s neck. You cannot fish while sitting on a giraffe’s neck in Chicago, it’s completely illegal.
  • In Champaign, you can’t pee in your neighbor’s mouth. Really lost it at this law, the best of weird laws so far.
