What is the first thing that we do after entering our car? We turn on the AC.

WARNING : – PLEASE DO NOT TURN ON THE AC AS SOON AS YOU ENTER YOUR CAR. WAIT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES BEFORE TURNING IT ON.

And there are bold reasons to support this warning:

  • According to a recent research, the dashboard, the seats and air freshener emits Benzene which is a cancer causing toxin (carcinogen).
  • Benzene can poison your bones and might cause Anaemia, a case where white blood cells of your body are reduced !

  • Prolonged exposure can cause Leukaemia (blood cancer), miscarriage and can affect our kidneys and liver.
  •  Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq ft. A car parked indoors with windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of benzene. If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level.
  • People who get in the car with closed windows would inevitably inhale the toxin.
  • It is extremely difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff.

So please open your windows of your car and turn on the AC only after a couple of minutes. So readers it is on you now, save yourself and the people you know. Share it with as many people as you can.
